Finally got the balls to take my car on a long roadtrip from SF to LA this past Monday and took advantage of some time to photograph it around LA. I was surprised to have not seen any TLX's down there given the vast population and amount of cars on the road.

She performed phenomenally!! On the drive down from SF I kept her between 78-88 and she was returning 31.2 to 34.6MPG. When I arrived to LA, I still had about 112 miles left on range, enough to get down to Encinitas.

However, after a quick trip down to Monterey this coming Sun-Wed she will be placed on a well deserved timeout and full detailing as I have just over 6,000 miles on it and it was purchased Nov 6. Thankfully I still have a beater of a Honda I can drive around.

As for photos, more to come. I tried to convince a friend of mine who works at a major airport to allow me on a runway with it......no chance in hell for that

^ Monterey weather this weekend is looking super nice. Enjoy your time in town. I was going to suggest taking your car out to Laureles Grade. Plans to go to the MB Aquarium, Carmel, Pebble Beach, etc?

I am driving down for an airport management conference Sun-early Wednesday, so I might go for a bit of a drive around the area before I leave back to SF on Wednesday mid day. I would like to see the Lone Cypress, so a trip near pebble Beach might be in order.
