Also, both the Tein on the TL and the H&R on the S2000 are monotube...I will never go back to twin tube design (had megan and buddy club in the past). They are harsh...and adjusting height is much more complicated. Mono...smooth ride...easy to adjust, robust... THIS is the way to go. |

Great looking cover.

Where was the original of that shot, Mike? Fantastic but the quality was majorly downgraded!

That new pic is $$$$!

Simply amazing workmanship and quality. The RS-R coilovers are all Monotube hand assembled systems specifically designed to improve ride quality, performance, and comfort. Utilizing components such as; laser cut upper mounts, hand welded lower brackets, vehicle specific valving, are all assembled by hand to ensure quality and detail. |

Jeremy, I will look into that.... lol By the way, we found a new home for our White TLX. Sad to let her go but vehicle was getting a bit aged. The good news is, we have a new TLX. Most of the goodies are swapped over. There is a quick shot by my buddy Tony P. |
Not gonna lie...the white was right.
But the black is just on fire. I'm biased and I know what it takes to keep up that shine a decade later but NOTHING is as rewarding to look at when clean than a black car. A perfect mirror... Gorgeous... |

I have a black tlx too and was thinking about putting on gold/bronze colored wheels in the future. |
Dollars to doughnuts they are a variation of Vossen wheels. :toocool:

Paint matched grill looks pretty good,

the black tlx is looking fantastic. I think paint matching some or all of the chrome would be awesome. I assume you'll probably sell the black one at some point too so an alternative would be to use vinyl to black out the chrome. :toocool:
|
+1 for vinyl wrapping the chrome black, and leaving the emblem chrome :pimp: |
having that on my 3G, I can say I absolutely love how it makes the A float on the grill visually. Mike is always open to new ideas!

Sooo...ummm...I know a guy that paints and it won't chip...and you know him too. I'm thinking...you know...ummm... could be fucking perfection. |
"Mike Chan" edition TLX on the lot sells for $65K...
I can see it now, on the cover the Sun Sentinel! |
I would love to see a set of 20x10 rear and 20x9 front and 275/30/20 rear with 245/35/20 front tires. Chan Mikes car looks bad ass, but I want a bit more rubber around the wheel lip. I would like to stay with as aggressive as possible offset to fill the wheel wells nicely, but not have to do any fender mods. I do plan to lower about 1"-1.2". I have seen a few TLXs that are running 20s, but none with the size and offset I am trying to verify.
Any ideas as I am VERY interested in buying the 20x10 and 209 VFS1 wheels, but don't have a clue what offsets to get. |
Then do it and then share it here for the world to see! The man has a lot on his shoulders already! :spanky:
:toocool: Seriously though...do it. |
