My CBP Acura TLX

My very first Acura i bought! i had it now for 3 weeks and i absolutely love it! I had a 2010 Honda Civic Ex and i got hit from the side and my car was totaled! Not a day goes by i miss that Honda because it was my very first car but i decided to upgrade big and get a TLX. I bought my TLX June 15th 2015 (the day the blackhawks won the Stanley Cup =D lol). Slowly doing upgrades to the TLX; had the rear deck spoiler installed a week after i bought it, tints, weathertech floormats and i just got the aero kit done last week. Hopefully gonna get a new set of shoes on it soon!

Nice! Another CBP!
The weather tech floor mats look good too. I'm considering those over the all weather mats from acura.
But like the previous post, where's your brake and gas pedals? LOL

I would definitely purchase the weather tech floor mats over the all weather mats from Acura. I got the ones from Acura and regret purchasing them. The mat on the drivers side doesn't cover the area under the gas pedal very well. The weather tech mats cover the entire area well, and they also cover the sides of the carpet and not just the bottom

Go for the weathertech floorliner hands down! its a must in chicago because of the snow and salt in the winter and a better investment because of the coverage i dont think the weathertech are that much more in price compared to buying the acura floormats. I think i should go to the dealer and show them this picture and ask them where my gas and brake pedals went! lol

SWEET!! Love the black (I'm biased ) I got the body kit/spoiler installed before I took delivery and I personally think they look great on the CBP.

The sad thing is that it won't stop raining here so I can't wash it.

Keep us updated on your upgrades/mods.

black acura grill

I plan on doing this to my own tlx soon.

My dealer had an example and i plan on getting mine vinyl wrapped somewhere because they're charging $699 and they say they "paint it."

I really like the contrast with the chrome left around the grill tho. I seen some people around the forum ask and mention about painting/wrapping

the grill black and leaving the "A" and other parts around chrome. I hope this helps some people!

I got my car coated with Opti-Coat Pro the day I bought it. I drove the 10 miles or so to the detailer and had the car's paint prepped before installing the coating and when I picked my TLX up I couldn't believe how much better it looked. The detailer did an amazing job making the car look better than "new" and 4 months in, the car still looks fantastic.

On a separate note. You just mentioned having your "beak" wrapped. I think there was a tech bulletin about the danger of wrapping your grill because the radar unit behind it may be affected. If you have the Advance model you may want to check before wrapping.

Been contemplating if i should black out my beak as well but keep coming back to leaving it as is since i prefer the contrast. Will probably have to see a blacked out one in person. As with most cars, i think pics dont do justice to a blacked out cars. They have a certain appeal when seen in real life

I had my car for 3 weeks now and I finally decided to get the opti coat. I have to go Monday now because there was a delay with reinstalling my deck lid spoiler and thank you for letting me know about wrapping my "beak" I'll look more into that post.

I did the legal limit in my area 35% all around. I don't know if tint laws in other states are the same or different. I just didn't wanna be haslted by cops if I got pulled over a window tint...
