I'm not sure why you guys have to actually post to test. 
Post the code to your picture, and instead of "Post Quick Reply" button, use the "Go Advanced" button. This will allow you to preview what you've just posted. In advanced mode, you can continue to click on the "Preview Post" button until you get your post exactly the way you want it. Then "Submit Reply."
If you're just testing, don't click on "Submit Reply."
Post the code to your picture, and instead of "Post Quick Reply" button, use the "Go Advanced" button. This will allow you to preview what you've just posted. In advanced mode, you can continue to click on the "Preview Post" button until you get your post exactly the way you want it. Then "Submit Reply."
If you're just testing, don't click on "Submit Reply."

Thank you datmrman, this is the kind of response that you would like to have from a moderator. As you can tell I have been trying to post a picture but the only result that I get is a small thumbnail, the image is three pictures in 1 file, I tried to follow all the requirements but I can't get the picture to be show in full size. I’m sorry I had post so many test but I thought the meaning of this thread was to test how to post pictures. Now I know how to do it with out actually posting.

I see that you're using imageshack. What you have been using are the thumbnails from imageshack. What you want to use, is the code for Hotlink for forums (1) minus the links to imageshack.
Basically if this is the direct link to the full size image: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/9289/odysseyvw2.jpg

OK, went to imageshack and opened an account, did the preview test and everything looked good. My questions is do I have to reduce the image size or can I post as it is. The image was bigger than the screen but not too much.

With all the help I did get a Photobucket account set up. However, like you I am unable to post photos yet (can't upload to photobucket). Will have to figure it out later as I have no time. Did get my Avatar uploaded larger than the original thumnail.
