Deja vu - My new TLX!

I just drove my new TLX home! I got the exact same car, it's great to have it back! I hope I have this one for many years!

Congratulations Narnia!

Looks just like your last car except cleaner and with less mileage.

BTW, I finally have more mileage than you.

Just past 16K this week.

Be safe.

Glad you're back "home" in another TLX. Does driving this one seem identical to your original TLX or does feel a little bit different?

What production date is the new one ?
Regarding the transmission , do you feel any difference ?

Once again , enjoy it for many years ...and no accidents anymore !

Not many of us get to do a reset (or would want to do it that way), but it shows you really liked what you had before. Hopefully this relationship will be a long one!

Agree with the other comments. Glad you're OK and now that you have your new baby let's hope you never have to endure what you went through the last week or so.

It is Rallye. I like dealing with the guys there, this is the 3rd car I bought from them.

My driving needs have changed now so I won't be racking up the miles like I used to. I happily pass the mileage baton to you tlxsteve!

It drives the same, but the brake feels a little tighter on the new car.

The car was built 02/15. The transmission in my first car was fine, and this one is as well. Very smooth shifting on both.

I think you're right h_dawg about it being Narnia's car. Not so sure about the, "minor body work", comment though.

Wow that's it, I checked the VIN! The description isn't correct, it doesn't drive unless they've done repairs to it. And not sure how they can describe this as needing "minor body work"??

Lol yeah, it needs quite a bit of work, basically every side of the car. If someone bought it for 2-3k though, it would make a good parts car. Just selling the wheels, headlights, and motor/trans you can basically recoup all of that and make some money on it

They're not being candid about the condition of the car. Every light on the dash and MID was flashing, with all the bells and whistles going off. The electronics locked up and you couldn't shift the gears. The back bumper was dented by the police trying to push the car to the side of the road, and they couldn't budge the car. They had to put the front wheels on a dolly to tow it.

This is really creepy seeing the car on eBay.

It just sold 5 minutes ago for $10,300.00. Amazing. Ad says it needs 3 doors and a quarter panel but runs. I think someone got screwed.
