Cbp/ebony v6
New member of the TLX family. Very happy with my new V6 Tech purchase and wanted to share some photos with the community.
I leased an ILX ASpec for my son last month, and today I drove home with a CBP Ebony V6. I liked my TL but this vehicle is so much more refined, She's a beauty.

Did you trade in the TL?

Indeed, my previous TL was white and I chose that color because I felt it wouldn't be hard to maintain and I did like white. Black is very difficult especially if your obsessive . But after seeing all the colors in the lot I knew CBP was coming home with me.

dio- didn't you just buy a 14 4G like two months ago? Why the trade in? Just curious. Would also be interested in your comparing the two.

No I leased the TL April of last year, so I've had it a little more than a year. I have a good relationship with my local dealer and this is m 6th Acura so I get good deals and I take care of the cars and always return them looking almost new.
The deal was really so good it was hard to pass up with the discounted cap cost and the 1750 in dealer incentive my payment was less than 100 dollars a month more.
Also Honda now doesn't require 100/300 insurance so I saved 56 dollars a month there. As far as differences, well it's a much more refinement car it's quieter has better tech, the audio in my opinion is as good. I love the look and the fit and finish is on point. Hope that helps.

Iet me add I had my trepidations regarding all the communities comments about the tranny so I test drove both the i4 and V6 extensively 100 miles into my ownership, and the only thing about the tranny I'm getting use to is the delay coming out of reverse and into drive. Otherwise I'm really happy still learning the car.

dio....Congrats on your great looking TLX! Seems that you have a similar experience with your Acura dealer than I do and keep your car in pristine conditions too.

White is more maintenance than it would seem. Dirt really shows up and it looks dull like crap. It is better with water spots and pollen than black. Black actually looks decent dirty but is bad with water spots and pollen.
How was the 2.4 TLX compared to the ILX and V6 TLX?

The I4 TLX drives nice but I'm used to how a V6 feels now and from my memory of the TSX, I didn't want to be under powered at times and the gas milage on the 6 is so good it wasn't worth the loss in ponies. I do miss the shifter.
The TLX and the ILX are the same engine. The TLX is tunes differently which gives it a little more HP but it's a little slower because the ILX is lighter. The ILX is a fun car to drive and my son loves his car.
