Blue TLX in showroom!

I was at the local dealership today and took a few photos of the BLUE TLX - it's a nice colour, isn't it!? It's just a shame that in Canada, the blue colour only comes with the black interior. It would look really nice with the grey interior...

Looks nice! Here in the US we don't get the black interior with blue exterior, according to the dealership I visited. I actually wish we could get blue with black here, lol.

The grass is always greener on the other side. I wanted the Copper Black with expresso interior, but no, only in the US.

Can't wait till someone drops it and puts wheels on it, that gap & stockies ruin an otherwise nice looking car; especially the back.

Ostrich...I guess the TLX doesn't come with the headlight washer in Canada eh?

Yes it does, on the Elite (kind of equivalent to the Advance in the US).

Thanks...I don't need it anyway as I never drive my car in the rain/snow and I will not be going to the Elite anyway. Just gives the bumper a "cleaner" look (no pun intended)

Thats a sick color. Are we sure it doesn't come with black interior here in the states? Seems like a pretty obvious combination.

It doesn't. And this is the stuff Acura has to deal with, I guess. You like the combination (nothing wrong with that), but I think a black interior with the red or blue colors looks off. Graystone is perfect for the blue and parchment for the red (although that gives an 80's vibe). Maybe they just wanted to help Canadians to warm up faster in the sun with a black interior.

Of course Acura could just give us every possible option there is and let us choose. I'm guessing their beancounters and economics won't allow that.

I think those stock wheels look fine compared to what Honda has.

LOL Steven! No, I cannot, because this vehicle has been sold! LOL!

Seriously, if I am to get one, I will get the SH-AWD Elite (or Advance in US) verison in White/Espresso or Silver.

I am still trying to make up my mind as to whether I would go with the TLX or something with more utility like the MDX.... ideally, I would like an RDX with the luxury features of the MDX + SH-AWD, because the MDX is too big and the space/size of the RDX is perfect for me! :-)

On the other hand, I am really tempted by the amazing deals with the MB E Class etc now.... oops, wrong thread! LOL!

Yeah, I am literally thinking the same thing... My 2010 TL sh-awd 6mt is coming off lease soon, and was thinking of the MDX or TLX SH-AWD Elite... I would look at the RDX as it too is "right sized" but doesn't have the sh-awd, or the features I want. MDX may be too big. Or keep the TL.

sigh...

I find it really stupid that you can only get the blue with gray interior here in the US. The blue looks go much better with the black interior....

I totally agree. I had the Fathom Blue Pearl with Ebony interior for my ILX and I loved it. When I found I could only do the grey interior on the TLX with the same FBP, I took it off my list.

LOL I found it ridiculous that in Canada, we could only get the black interior with this blue exterior colour! LOL!

I think that in both countries, we should be able to get both black and grey interior with the blue exterior!!!

And here I wish that you could get the blue with Espresso interior, but grey is good. I considered finding somebody to swap their grey interior with my black, but ultimately, I wish I could have had a brown (not tan/parchment) leather. I even looked into dying my seats, but no go on that.

Having seen Fathom Blue Pearl on the MDX, it is definitely a classy color, but I prefer the my brighter Vortex Blue.
