Where can i find my ECU number on my car?

 

This is an important question. I also have no idea where to look for the ECU number.

The ECU is in the engine bay with the large wiring harnesses plugged into. The number starts with 37820-

Open the hood. Facing the engine bay, look to the left side. Next to the radiator overflow reservoir is the ECU housing where your will see the large wiring harness that KSeries Tuner described. A sticker with the ECU number is attached to the ECU case.

 

Kuzdu, what year is your TLX? The V1.2 units for sale on Amazon lists compatibility for 15-17 TLX V6. I've messaged the seller through Amazon and on their website to confirm compatibility for 2018+ models...no response.

Hey! If I remove cats on the car, will the car pass emission? Or will it just clear the code constantly and fail emissions?

 

Disabling the code may disable the Catalyst monitor, which if they require will fail you. We do nothing to circumvent emissions testing and you should really test while on a factory tune.

 

Thanks, I was wondering if a KTunner would just give my cat less car a way to pass emissions without replacting the cat every year.

 

Hey KSeriesTuner, how soon after the 2021 2.0T TLX is in dealerships do you think a tune will be available since KTuner already has knowledge of tuning the 2.0T for the Honda Accord?

 

If we verify there's no changes to the engine and tuning, it should be short time. We will still have public testing prior to a full release, but we'll be looking for testers the day they hit show room floors!

 

The TLX version is a slightly higher hp/tq tune than in the Accord, but well below the Civic Type R. "Precision Performance" should've put the standard TLX hp/tq no less than the Type R.

 

what are all the things you can change with ktuner? can you send some screenshots?
