Holy trunk thumper Batman!! That's a lot of power. Did you have to modify the charging system or add a cap or anything else to keep from dragging the battery down?

If you don't mind, could you provide any additional information about what you had to do for the install, I'm sure some of the members would like to know.

Thanks, and enjoy!

Very nice! Did you have to drill a hole thru firewall to get into engine bay?

It was professionally installed you can't really tell but it doesn't look to have been drilled on the firewall.

Thanks for your reply. That's the only thing holding me back from installing them.

How much did you pay? Over $1000? I guess that stops most people from doing this.

All I needed done was wiring and custom sub box enclosure. I had everything else from a previous build on my 09 tsx tech. price wise lets just say you wouldn't believe me if I told you. It was a little under $250.00

Not at all I can't stand that aluminum can rattle. I do plan on using some dynamat the rear deck though before everything shakes loose. No license plate rattle took care of the the first day.

Do you have the ELS system? If not, is there a way to add another sub or upgrade the current sub or add more power to have more bass? I am used to having high end aftermarket systems, and although the ELS system is adequate, I would not say it is great. Any ideas?

Looking at your photos it appears you have the ELS system. How was your sub hooked up?

It doesn't matter if you have the ELS system or not. They usually connect aftermarket subwoofer and amp to stock subwoofer.

Noise Cancellation

Have you had any problems with the noise cancellation mics? I had a local guy look at mine to install an amp and sub but he was saying that there could be a problem with the noise cancellation system putting out some feedback noise. I've seen it here on older threads for the TL but nothing about the new TLX. Thanks!
