Wiper blades
Hey everyone, anyone has any issues with the driver side wiper leaving streaks all the time. It's been like this since day one and the dealer said its fine. Before I change them I wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat.

Haven't noticed any streaks on mine. Try cleaning the rubber inserts with rubbing alcohol. And I always like to coat it in some spray wax after cleaning.

Mine "jumps" as it moves along the windshield and it streaks slightly. Dealer said could not replicate and didnt do anything. Im not worried living in Southern California Ive only driven it in the rain maybe twice in the past 6 months

Kudzu, mine doesn't do that, but the passenger side wiper would leave streaks on the far right side of it (towards the outside of the 'radius'). My dealer adjusted the wiper arm a bit and that fixed it.
You should just change out the wiper inserts if it didn't do that when you picked up the car. They can get worn down. I think they're like $11 or something.
spoiler900, try lubricating the blade part a little with spray wax just to see if it still hops. If it does, it could mean the insert is installed upside-down or has become damaged from the sun (since you're in California, that's more likely). Try a new insert.

The stock wiper blades are junk, had this problem on her 14 RDX although her 16 RDX the blades seem ok. The TLX blades streak, smudge, etc. I will be replacing them shortly. Seems Acura saved a penny everywhere they could on this car.

From day 1 my driver's side wiper has left a thin line in an arc across the windshield. It's like it has a tiny nick in the blade or something. It's not enough of a problem to bother with, so I haven't done anything about it.

No issues with mine. Still running the originals on mine. The only time I had issues was when I applied Sonax sealant to the windshield which caused them to jump, and chatter horribly.
Yours sound like bad blades since they have been that way since new, but contaminants cause blades to jump, streak, and chatter, both on the blade, and glass. I also like to clean my windshield from time to time with a Mr Clean magic eraser, and/or clay bar to keep it contaminant free, and use alcohol wipes on my blades from time to time. I also make sure to clean them whenever I wash the car.

Yup I thought I was the only one, at my first oil change I'll have them change it out for me and if that doesn't work it's Piaa silicone :-)

No telling how long those blades were on the car. Unless you bought the car shortly after it was built, they could have been sitting there in the Sun for months. Have no problem with mine. I'd just swap them out. Easy to do and cheap.

Mine started to streak fairly early in the life of the car. I replaced them with Rain-X blades, but I don't like them either as they smear in the cooler temps we have here now. I like a clear windshield so I clean it a couple times a week and do the blades at the same time. I'm still searching for the perfect blade.
