What is moved or eliminated in the trunk with the advance package that results in 1.1 cu ft more space?

I'm sure about the other models but, ours doesn't come with a spare tire.

None of the models come with a spare tire, it is an option on all levels. I don't have the spare tire option yet, but I'm seriously considering it. I'd rather have one and never need it than have a sidewall puncture and need it.

I don't know for sure, but I think the advance model just goes a little deeper and has the side cubby holes. I don't think anything was removed, but I'm not certain.

I thought the spare was an option on all models. But that does make me think perhaps the extra space is below the trunk floor and therefore not really all that usable for typical luggage-type stuff.

The flip-up floor reveals a pair of storage bins (or a larger single bin with the Advance Package). 2015 Acura TLX: Body - Honda.com

Thanks. So the advance package provides more storage space but not really a bigger trunk.

The tool area in the trunk is different. All models but the advance have a foam insert. Advance models have a polymer type insert with more tool storage, and polymer lid. I actually just ordered the advance insert and lid for my tech package I4, should be here by Wednesday.
