I welcome guesses as to when the SHAWD versions will be available for test drives and purchases. (That's the version I will likely buy.) Thanks.

This is a Fifth Gen TLX thread @jcardona1, not an RDX thread...

 

I ran into the GM at the local dealer today. He told me his RDX will be in mid June. He said the new TLX will come next summer as a 2020.

 

Had an email update - RDX production has started @ Honda’s East Liberty Plant in Ohio for June deliveries. Engine comes from Honda’s engine plant in Anna, Ohio. It makes 272 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque and comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and next-gen Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system.

 

The sales mgr also indicated a TLX type S for next summer. Looks like the full line of TLX will go on sale June/July of 2019. I am now basically holding off on a new car purchase until at least next summer. But I'm on the list to see the RDX when it arrives. Not sure if I want a utility, but who knows.

 

If the TLX is next year, I wonder when the next MDX will make its debut. With North America being so crossover happy, I would think Acura would put the MDX on the priority list.

 

 

Dealer communicated the A-Spec is due for deliver on May 23-27.
