V4 v.v6

Hi all. This is my first post in about 6 years since I bought my '08 TSX v4 tech. First I want to say, I'm not an "enthusiast" like many here. I'm a male boomer looking for a fun, dependable car with good gas mileage and tech toys. I won't be using any terms like "tossable," but I like it. The TLX v4 tech reminded me so much of my current TSX, except it's smoother and much quieter. The wheels I've heard so much about? Eh. Not a deal killer for me. Going into the dealer today, given what I've read, the only reason I was going to consider a v6 was to get AWD. However, after driving the v6 FWD, I think I prefer its heavier feel to the v4. It feels like it would be more comfortable on long highway drives which I do a lot of. Comfort and visibility were all great. The Bluetooth connected easily in my Android and streamed Spotify well. I do hope they add Google Auto with a software update soon. One nitpick. The driver side mirror has an annoying reflection of the side vent...

I "ordered" a v4 tech in black copper with espresso to qualify for their advantage program and will add a remote starter with the $500 credit. I'm not tied to the v4, and may opt for a v6 AWD tech when the time comes. I have to take delivery on something by 10/31 to qualify for the 2 payments and the $500 accessory credit.

Overall impression from this '08 TSX owner is that the TLX a beautiful, comfortable, fun to drive car.

Awesome! I hope you love the TLX as an owner. I'm leaning toward the TLX too, but I likely won't buy again before 2016. I agree the the TSX is a very nice car. I loved the balance.

Also, not to be a nitpicker, but... the 4-cylinder engine is actually an inline 4 (I-4). Just means that the cylinders are in-line as opposed to a V configuration.

You taught me something new, WayneJay. Thanks for the clarification!
