TLX Color Choice: Black Copper Pearl or Crystal Black Pearl
Hey guys,
I know this is a pure opinion question but I am looking to hear what you guys have to say. I have been trying to decide for the last 2 days which color to get and I still haven't come to a definitive decision. The choices are:
- Black Copper Pearl with Espresso interior
- Crystal Black Pearl with Graystone interior
Thanks,
Neil

I gave up on black exterior with my current car. I may re-visit in the future. It's tooo much of a nightmare to maintain, especially owning it for several years. I think the BCP is different, but I'm not sure I'd get it. Go check it out in person. Between the two, I'd probably take the CBP.
If you're talking about throwing in those interiors, I like the graystone interior more, but it probably shows dirt easier. I would've gotten my car with a graystone interior if the ebony hadn't been available. I really like that interior color.

Thanks for the input guys. I really like the espresso interior but I am not sure I am completely sold on the BCP. I know you can get the espresso interior with CBP but the two I have listed are the two cars the dealer has in stock.
Decisions, decisions....

Check out the BCP in different lights. It really is gorgeous in bright sunlight for example. And while the grey interior is gorgeous when new, Rocketsfan is correct that it will not age well.

If you live in snowy climate like ours then do not even think about having a black car! It will look dirty all the time. Then go with BCP which is still dark but will not show dirt as much as pure black like CBP.
On the other hand, if you live in a sunny and warm climate, go with CBP by all means! It looks amazing when clean and under the sun!!! Oh, and don't forget the 19" diamond cut wheels - they look absolutely stunning with CBP!!!

I love those 19" diamond cut wheels but I don't love their $2K price tag. Like I have read in other threads, I am not wild about the 17" wheels but in person they don't look all that bad.
I live in Maryland and we get a fair amount of snow each year. I appreciate everyone's input. I am leaning toward the BCP now.

If I was stuck between those two colors, I would definitely go for the Black Copper Pearl with Espresso interior. I wish I could have gotten the Espresso interior in my Basque Red Pearl.

I thought this was hilarious after reading this thread last night. I saw a BCP TLX this morning on the way to work. I've seen this one before. During lunch, I found myself following a CBP TLX on the way to the same restaurant. They both looked damn nice.
