Test drive
 

I took a 4 cyl out for a test drive last week. I have seen so many photos on here and was prepared to be looking for anything I didn't like on the car in person. Once I got to the lot, I didn't even hardly notice the exterior. My first thought was that I liked it and I moved past that. I even thought the 17 inch wheels looked better in person. I like the wheels of the 6 cyl much more, but for $4-5K extra, I should like them better. I drove a Tech package and I was very impressed with all the technology you get for price of this car. It is a very good value. The lane keep assist just blew me away. I was sailing at 70 mph on the interstate, had cars on both sides of me during get away traffic on a Friday afternoon. I had no hands on the wheel and it wasn't budging. Very impressive little feature. The stereo was excellent and the seats were really, really comfortable as well. I also noticed how quiet the cabin was. I didn't want to drive a 6 cyl, because I knew I would like the extra power of it better. I didn't even talk pricing or anything after the drive. Just got a card and said I would give them a call if I was interested. I am sure I am leaving some things out, but I really did like the TLX.

My first impression of the 17" wheels was the same as yours "ah - those look a lot better in person"

I think they look particularly good on the white car as the black portion offers a nice contrast.

Same thing for SSM.
