I've been reading these forums often for information related to my 2019 tlx advance. Through all of my searching I finally found something I can't figure out and this is my first post.
I recently went to replace my spoiler. Spent hours searching, comparing pictures and part numbers and install guides. This looked to be the right fit for my car, and all pictures of users with this spoiler seem to be the same shape and size as the one I received. But upon install, I realized it wasn't going to cover the mounting holes from my OEM spoiler that came with the car originally. (included picture)
I'm worried if I buy another one from somewhere else, I'll just run into the same problem. Has anyone replaced the spoiler no a 19 Adv? Anything I can do about it?
So I called Acura dealers and it looks like this is expected. They said I'd need a new trunk lid and that they don't sell the rubber grommets to fill the holes. Does anyone know of any 3rd part spoilers that would either cover the edge or would fit with the current lip spoiler on the back of the TLX?
