We just got my wife a 2020 TLX SH-AWD with a Tech package last week. We are in US, so the car did not come with a heated steeing wheel.
I am going to add it and wondering if I can use this opportunity and replace the base (nice but not very sporty) steering wheel with the A-Spec wheel.
Any reason why this would not work? Will my dealerr object doing this?
Any advice is appreciated.

 

Actually I drive a 2019 Acura TLX Aspec SH-AWD USA version which does not come with heated steering wheel but it could be added as an accessory which I did when I bought the car. In the kit from dealer you get steering wheel, wiring, clock spring and the button that goes on the side of the steering wheel. If you plan to change the steering wheel than that wheel might not be have the heated element to work. Hope this help.

I your case you went fom a non-heated A Spec steering wheel to a heated A Spec. I am thining of putting a heated A Spec to a car with not-heated non-A Spec steering.
It seems to be doable. Many people put non-heated A Spec on their non-A Spec cars. Will check with my dealer. Hopefully they know better.
