Sept Numbers are in!!
The TLX sold a record number in the US - 4,753 cars sold in the month of Sept. vs 4,353 sold in Aug.
This should come as no surprise given the super aggressive deals we're reading about as the 2016 model begins to roll out.
To add some colour to the number Infiniti sold roughly 300 *less* Q50's in Sept when compared to Aug, moving from 3,839 to 3,557 units sold.
Regardless - Acura has shown their willingness to move this car and consumers continue to write the checks.
Thanks - I'll hang up now and listen to your comments over the air.

Was at Santa Anita Westfield Mall last night, and they had two TLX inside the mall for display.

Interesting I never see 4 G TL around here at all. Even at the Acura dealer, I don't see them in for service...
I do see the old sckool 2.5/3.2 TL (first gen) in the Asian neighborhoods

I don't know. I'm totally cool with not seeing them everywhere I look. That's actually one of the reasons why I decided to look more into this model - it's kind of nice having something a little unique.
I also really like BMW 328s, but I'd never buy one since they're a dime a dozen here in and around Atlanta.

In the NY metro, and LI area, Acuras are pretty common, and I see multiple TLXs every day on my drives. Fair amount of white ones too; guess its a popular color.
Good for Acura, but I also kind of like having a car you don't see everywhere.

I see a lot around here too, I get all excited when I see one from far. The tail lights are so sexy.... I don't see as many Advance models though. I kind of feel like in an exclusive class with the Advance model. I always wonder how other TLX owners feel when they see me driving by. On a side note I parked across from a 4G TL at publix and the guy kept staring at my car as I was backing out.... Another guy in a 4G Sh model saw me and decided he was going to put a little more effort into his acceleration. Maybe he wanted me to show him what the TLX could do.

I've ordered an Obsidian Blue Pearl SH-AWD Elite model. Apparently the build completion date is November (!) 12, with the delivery date being 2-3 weeks after that. Sigh. I know I'll appreciate it more when I finally get it though. I just have to try not to be jealous of the MMC in 2017, but I couldn't wait any longer to buy really since this left knee issue is killin me.
Obsidian Blue Pearl seems like a really rare colour. I WILL post pics when I get it, because I haven't seen any of them. I've only seen the car in person and on Acura's website. The OBP in person is amazing IMO. I didn't like the Crystal Black Pearl compared to the Nighthawk Black Pearl on my 3G.

Does it count as sold if I put a deposit on mine and the paperwork isn't finished? Acura Canada didn't release the 2016 pricing and rates just yet, so the paperwork needs some time before it can be finalized.

That's Bryan Adams, Neil Young, and Stomping Tom Connors loving friends to you. I have twice driven beside my exact replica on the way home from downtown. I see a few others around from time to time. It's always a encounter.

The current generation TLX is a better looking car than the Japanese competition (Infiniti Q50 and Lexus IS). I just don't understand why Japanese automakers veer from generation to generation with the design of the car. They should model after the Europeans and just slightly change the look. Hopefully, Acura continues with this design language.
