Rebate on old TSX lease??
Folks,
The TLX Advantage deal was expiring Sept. 1.... My 2012 TSX lease was over Dec. 15 so we made a deal in late August and I was told I had to wait for new car to come in.... it came in just after I made my last months payment on previous TSX... dealer said Advantage required me to pick up new car before the first of Dec. and asked that I not wait til last week November when they are busy... Thus, I played by their rules and picked up new car 5 days into TSX's last months payment. Can I expect a rebate on the unused part of that month? They say NO! They get my money for those 25 days and they get my old car!! Is that common in the industry?
Thanks.

Could have gone in early to sign and date the contract Dec 1st. Then just pick up the car on that date. Dealer just wanted to count the sale that day and afraid you might have backed out if you waited and lose the sale. No refund. Could have also dated Nov 30th as each payment under law would be due on the 1st and the dealership still could have counted the sale for November. Since February has 28 days besides leap year, any contract dated 29th, 30th or 31st - payments are due on the 1st.

Good for you... That was my final payment that I made and their policy, they tell me, is not to rebate anything... seems unfair to me, but I doubt I can do much about it except warn others and be aware next time around... But it doesn't speak well about Acura!
