Rear view mirror dimming not dim the entire mirror?
Just notice today when I took off my aftermarket mirror. When light hit, it dim,ed most of the area but the surrounding edge is not. Is that normal? Not really an issue for me since I use the aftermarket mirror that covered the original, but would like to get it fix if it is a problem.

It's normal. Mine is the same way.

Cool, thanks wagsrules.

Yup it's normal. You could even see the outline of the dimming part if you look carefully when it's not dimmed.

Kinda strange for that. I thought it would be dim the whole mirror. If I remembered correctly, the Sienna is covered completely and it dimmed the whole time instead of only when light hit it.

True. I think I used the wide mirror since HS. This feature is one of those I don't really care for but good to know that I have it lol
