Need some insight

I've been with AHFC for 20 years; 6 leases, etc.
Last week I received a letter from Audi corporate, stating my monthly payment, & when my lease expires
I've NEVER contacted any Audi people in my life
It's somewhat unnerving to know that people outside of Acura have my exact info
Call AHFC & they claim total innocence
Anyone have ideas as to how Audi accessed my info?
I doubt my dealer would sell that kind of info

More than likely one of the major credit bureaus sold the data to Audi for marketing purposes.

However they got it, it's inappropriate to take it and use it in that manner....assuming the letter actually came from Audi. I would follow-up with them.

I got a similar letter from the new Alfa Romeo dealership wanting me to test drive their new Giulia. Had my name and brand new address on it. Only been in the house a few months. They are not part of the same car dealership. Don't know how they got my name. Maybe they got it from the post office when I filed a move request?

Lots of states DMV's sell the lists. They are public records.
