What does your lease payment work out to be? ~650 a month?

Wow, sounds great. I love the idea of having 2 sets of wheels, one with winter and one with summer tires, looks like I could be doing that with our cars. Post some pics when you finally get to see the car!

Something like that with 0 down.

I am putting some cash down and should be 560 ish + tax.

Yeah, I have done that with every car I have had... It makes winter switch over something I can do in an hour or so in my garage... The trick (to get around the storage issue) is to buy a wall mounted tire rack, then the extra wheels/tires sit up out of the way on the wall.

My advice, and this is just me, but for a lease, don't put any money down. You are better off leaving the cash in the bank and just transfer the difference on a monthly basis if you must.

I've given some MSD to bring the interest rate down...

Very nice. Congratulations! I know you will enjoy it once it gets here. I put 2600 on my TLX so far. Ride is great.

oups...Sorry...Multi Suecurity Deposit. By giving multiple deposits of your lease payments, your interest rate will go down...max of up to 10 payments.

So if your payment is 600$, by putting a 6l MSD, you would lower your percentage

Congrats! Your going to love it. But you spent around $5000 just in wheels and tires. Wow. I bought 18X8 wheels from Tire Rack and Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 245/45R18 for $2200.00 CDN with tax and all charges. I swapped my 17" OEM Goodyear LS2 for Dunlop Winter Maxx even trade. And put them on the Original 17" wheels for winter.

Yep I did. The winter tires are cheaper from the dealer than from tire rack, the super sports slightly more.

The dealer is giving me the rear spoiler in trade for the stock all seasons.

The biggest expense was the 19 inch acura wheels. But tire rack is showing nothing for wheels for the TLX SH-AWD. So didn't have a lot to cross-shop.

But, in an effort to try to cross shop, I put together a tire and wheel package including 19 inch michelin super sports, 18 inch michelin xice3 and 19 inch enkei wheels and came out to 3897$ before USD to CAD conversion from tire rack. If I convert to cad I get 4384$ which is pretty close to 5 thousand in wheels and tires.

Tirerack is loosing out by not getting the appropriate wheels identified/certified for the TLX. I was all prepared to get a set for the wife and another set for me. Ended up getting just the wifes from them and wheels from PMC fitted with tires and TPMS from my dealer.

Does acura allow MSDs? Last time I checked, they didnt.

Pickup my car on Wednesday afternoon. Could have picked it up Monday evening, but didn't want to pick it up in the dark.

Congrats! Wow, Freight: $1995?!

With the gas mileage people are seeing on the V6's, might be more fun to drive down to Marysville to pick it up

Congrats. I pick up weds morning. Which dealer? I am thinking Edmonton as none of the dealers here do the Nitrogen thing...afaik. Problem with multiple wheels is the damned TPMS which means the dealer has to reset unless you buy a TPMS tool. The sensorless Accord/CRV system is more convenient, even if you lose accuracy and the ability to monitor pressure. On a 3 year lease I will probably just swap the rubber over. Not decided which tires yet - no doubt this weekends snow - six inches now in NW Calgary and still going...will make everything crazy - though hopefully Tuesday's +11 will melt it all. WS80 or XICE3 or Conti EWC...havent priced the last yet.

My dealership is Northwest Acura.

I had no problem with multiple wheels/tires on my 2010 TL no need to reset... Hope that is still the case with the TLX.

I had the Conti EWC on the 2010 TL, they were excellent. The TLX will come with the X-ice3's... I have heard the blizzaks are too soft for the variability we have in Calgary...

There is no need to "reset" the sensors on a TLX. After a few minutes of driving the car will pick the new ones up automatically.
