The point is that I highly doubt Acura dealers can be cocky with their pricing for long at all. Many great cars in this segment, and many companies also offering decent incentives.

This is a very bad lease deal. You can get into a 2017 Lexus GS 350 for $589/month, 0 down, 10k miles. The GS 350 is a much better vehicle than the TLX.
#45
That is true & if they are still cocky, well they better get ready for the cars to sit on the lots. As the TLX is not a NSX & the competition is also offering good incentives & are willing to make deals so why would someone pay over sticker for a TLX would be beyond me. But you make a excellent point and I hope that dealers who are asking above sticker to wake up and smell the coffee or else they will loose sales.

According to the moderators at edmunds, there are incentives up to 2750 on new TLX. If you get base its 2000 but if you get tech-advance-aspec its 2750.00.
2000.00 is lease incentive 750.00 is dealer cash.
Looks like i'll be renegotiating at my dealer. Also, MF is supposed to be .00110 or 134 depending on State

That's good to know. I went and looked at the car today. My dealer only had the FWD Aspec so I didn't talk numbers or take a test drive. One black one white both with black interiors. The white was okay. The black was absolutely bad ass. Thought I wouldn't like the car in black. I was wrong.

That is so true. Even Audi which brought out the New A5 Sportback and it has only been on sale for a month now and dealers are willing to give between 1-6% off the MSRP. So if Acura dealers stick to msrp for more then 2 months they are going to loose sales to other brands.

Are you all Doctors and such paying $550/mth leases? Doing this perpetually say four times for 12 years and that adds up to $79K shelled out (not including taxes and any other fees incurred). I know to each his own on what they do with their money. But damn, I have a '04 Saturn Vue that I bought new for like $16.5K (includes trade-in and rebates). I did splurge and buy a CPO 2011 RDX in 2014. Most I ever spend on a car at $26K OTD. So I guess I have $43K spend over 13 years, but still have two cars running. Now if you all have a minimum of $1M net worth, by all means, spend what you want on stuff. My two cents is that it is crazy to have a $550.mth lease for any car unless you just have money to burn. Not to put a damper on anyone and the TLX A-spec purchase. I will wait another 3 to 5 years, and get your off lease one at $25K. So drive it carefully!

For business owners, leasing allows for a significant tax deduction. So money that I could be spending on taxes is instead shunted to something I use for business.
Anyhoo, back on topic, please, which is that the quoted lease is a poor deal.

^ Buying a new luxury car will still create a major hit of 50k, leasing is nice if you like keeping complex cars all the time and not worrying about them. Buying used will ALWAYS be cheaper so ... if you afford it, why not. I, on the other hand, am EXTREMELY happy I leased my 15 TLX since resale really isn't that great. Would much rather buy cars and trade them at will with no strings attached!

I always buy because I drive approx 18k a year and can't lease. I always like that I can keep my car and pocket the money I would have used to lease. Ive owned my 2010 TSX for 7 years with no payments for the past 4 years. Saving that cash allows me now to buy a new car with cash or a very small loan.

Edmunds is the only source I know about. Ask Edmunds moderators about it and they will tell: find another dealer.

Im in Canada I just got a price on a 330 xdrive with m sport, navi back up sensors, camera and red interior for $570/month tax in $0 down. I think its way better value than the TLX. What do you guys think?

Otherwise 2017 Q50 SS can be leased for less than $500 per month with $0 OTD, Red Sport is between $520 and $550. Even though I like the interior and exterior of the A-Spec much more than the Infiniti, if I had to make a move now I would go Red Sport.

It's hard to judge this lease deal. Are you paying the sales tax and fees upfront? I assume the first month's payment is included in your down payment. What's the price of the car itself? That's the most important part of the price determination other than the MF. Any incentives? MF and residual (standard from Acura right now is 0.0011 and 60%)? Not being harsh, but if you want to compare lease deals, the devil is in the details.

Lexus 350 - $1,041
Acura TLX - $813
On the US sites, the comparably equipped Lexus GS350 is about 10k more, so even with greater incentives, the lease cost will be considerably higher. This doesn't even factor in loyalty discounts. In Canada, we get a 2% reduction in rates, which reduces the payment about 40 -50 bucks less a month.
The Lexus GS 350, at the higher equipment levels has a more refined interior, but that gap has closed considerably. Externally, to be brutally frank, the Lexus front end is......kinda ugly.... I realize that last statement is very subjective, but it is an opinion shared by many. However, to be clear, I am certainly not saying the Lexus 350 isn't an excellent car, but I am taking exception to your statements about value and quality.

I got the $750 incentive plus more off MSRP on my 2018 TLX aspec. I had to shop to get this deal, there are some dealers that want close to MSRP and wont budge.
I purchased, no lease.

The window tint was accidental on there part. They didn't have the color i wanted, so they did a dealer trade. The trading dealer didn't tell them before i had already signed the paperwork that window tint was already installed, so i ended up with free window tint.

Time to get schwifty...
I cannot remember the money factor, but my dealer is quoting me $535 a month for 12k miles per year, to lease a 2018 A-Spec. The only thing I have pay upfront are DMV fees. He's just waiting on me to say that I'm ready to purchase. Then there's the waiting game for the ever elusive AWD, A-Spec, that is Still Night Blue Pearl and Red Interior.

That's a great deal on the face of it, for an awesome color combo. I'm one of those who likes the blue/red.

Thats the top tier credit MF for Oregon. MF varies from state to state according to the guys at Edmunds. Since i live in Oregon, there is also no sales tax.

We own 1 car and lease another because I personally love cars over other things. 550 a month to lease a 50K car is better than spending 600 a month to finance a used 30K car which is what it costs to finance for 60 months. By the time I'm almost done paying that car off I'm sick of it and want something new anyways. Because the car is used after another 5 years you'll be well over 100K miles unless you hardly drive. I don't know many people who keep cars for more than 5 or 6 years anyways. So essentially you can keep financing new or used cars that are not as nice which ends up costing you the same anyways. Most people on car forums are enthusiasts so their main concern is not trying to buy the cheapest beater car possible. Maybe on a Finance forum you'll find a bunch of people like that.

I'm on my 7th year with my TSX and haven't had a payment for the past 4 years. I totaled my TL in 2010 and had a nice down payment due to insurance. I would like to lease, but I drive on average 18K a year and can not. I love cars and after 4-5 years I get the itch. But not having a payment the past 4 years has been great. I will use that saved money to purchase my next car in the Spring with either cash or a very high down payment. Leasing doesn't work for everyone.

They were both offering a similar deal, but went with Hannah because they could get me the car the next day with a dealer trade (wanted a color they didn't have). I'm sure Tonkin could of as well, but they didn't offer it to me, and Tonkin told me they weren't getting one until the beginning of July, which was true, because they sold it already and posted a photo on there FB page of the sale.
