I'll just say this....
The TLX appears to have a ton of features that up to now you'd have to buy an RLX to get. Specifically:
- Electronic brake and brake hold. (I LOVE brake hold.)
- 3-mode backup camera
- 2-tiered center-stack screen system
- Puddle lamps (as an option)
- P-AWS
- IDS
- Jewel-eye headlights
- VCM
etc., etc.
In addition, with the TLX you get folding rear seats.
Just based on these things I'd have to say the TLX looks to be a bargain, and I have to wonder what the much pricier RLX will have to do to compete with its little brother.

My bet is that the e-SH-AWD will be limited to the RLX. I am still holding out for the potential performance gain of that system; that would be a huge differentiator between the RLX and TLX. Matters not either way to me, I'm intending to hold out for just a little longer on purchasing either.

I drove the RLX this past weekend as a loaner.....Mostly highway driving for about 200 miles. It was very comfortable and I thought that it had plenty of "kick" when needed on the highway, but not a car that I would put through the paces on S turns. It looks like much of the cabin on the TLX came over from the RLX. Dual screens, although outlined differently, look similar or identical. I really looks like the TLX packs a ton of value for the price. Now Acura just needs to rework the ILX and RLX, ....and bring S version of TLX

And none of it matters.
