I looked thru a few threads and some reviews and I keep reading about this 1 second lag when the car accelerates.
Can anyone who knows tell me what to expect for 0-60 times on the I4 and V6.
I know the V6 I have seen "around 6 seconds" - I havent seen anything on the I4. My TL-S with manual I believe is supposed to be around 5.8 --how do the new ones compare ?

the new ones are going to be slower off the line.

remember, your TL-S is engineered for a little more sport.
the TLX is made to be in Acura's words more luxury.

you also have an LSD in your Manual transmission, where as the newer cars dont.


plus, being a manual transmission, you can rev it to the optimum engine speed to get the perfect launch, coupled with that LSD and feathering the throttle, i'm willing to bet you'd take the TLX with ease.

Your manual type s 0-60 is around 5.5-5.6secs. The only thing the tlx is going to see is your rear end.

What those guys said... the manual will blow it out of the water. My auto will be close, if not a little slower then the V6. 5-speed gearing FTW!!
