"Hot looking car..."

So yesterday, not one but TWO people at my office commented on how awesome the TLX looks.

The first one was driving in as I was getting out of the car, and he rolls down the window of his new CLA and yells "Awesome car dude!" and gives me a huge grin.

The second comes up to me at my desk and says he had seen me getting out of it in front of our building (to help load my wife's laptop bag into the trunk, we work in the same building) and he thought "what a hot looking car" and wanted to know what it was (he's an Infiniti driver).

I personally think the TLX is gorgeous and its elegant, sophisticated lines grow on me over time. Clearly other people think it's pretty good looking as well. :-)

^ Your car is hot!

It is nice to get those compliments. Heck, the salesmen at the dealer gather around my car when I drive up. The color is a real standout.

The more I see the car, the more I like it. It is proportioned just right. I haven't found any bad angle views either.

I've gotten lots of comments too. From strangers, coworkers, friends and family. I've been told by various people my car looks 'sexy', 'slick', 'hot', 'a beauty', 'bad' (as Run DMC would say, "Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good") lol. So many other descriptions too. It really is a good looking car. I'm proud to drive it.

Plus they have not seen the inside which I think looks as every bit as good as the exterior. Plus they do not know about all the tech features and safety features. Plus they do not know how quick it is and the way it handles yet can get close to 40 mpg's on the highway. By the way IMO best color choice. What color interior did you get?

Plus the SH-AWD is mind-blowing. :-) We got the expresso, it was my wife's turn to pick the colors, and she has wanted a white car for a long time, and she loved the espresso interior...she thought it would age better than the lighter colors (the taupe in our TL Type S got really dingy) and as she put it "it matches the wood" lol

Now protect your baby with Z2 by Zaino Brothers. Two or three coats and you will not believe the shine. Their other products are great too like leather in a bottle and the tire gloss. All my friends on my suggestion are so pleased by Zaino.

I've had a few drive thru folks make comments about how nice my car looks. I do believe the SSM with Graystone is the best looking combo….I may be biased

After we had signed the papers and were walking out, my wife saw a GLM and went "ooooh PRETTY" and I laughed and said "not too late to change your mind on the white one" and she said, no, but that grey one was REALLY nice! :-) I myself probably would have gone with either GLM or BCP if it was entirely up to me, although I have really enjoyed the BWP, it shows the lines of the car very nicely.

Yeah, I don't get the reviews that talk about the car looking too bland. I think it is one of the best looking sedans currently sold. My Accord was less that 2 years old, and I wasn't really in the market for a car when I bought my TLX. It just caught my eye.

Another one I like, possibly even more when it comes to looks, is the Chrysler 200.

Agreed - the lines are quite well done and if you took the little BMW badge off the 3 and 5 series, most reviewers would be able to appreciate the TLX looks more. I find both cars kinda bland…perhaps it's the very white white that everyone gets because another 900 bucks or so for an actual colour is too much….and let's not talk about the pontiac grill But its so much easier to parrot others and talk about the nonexistent "beak". As I have said before, the new C class sedan looks too much like the old Hyundai Sonata mixed in with the old Taraus. Chrysler 200 is nice, but in my subjective opinion, the side lines are not as nice looking as the TLX.

White TLX looks awesome. Beautiful cars.

However, getting compliment from a CLA owner is like getting complimented by Rosie O Donell on your physique.

Could be because CLA owners know they have a FUGLY car. To each their own, I couldn't tell a CLA owner their car looks nice.. well,.. maybe in a white lie if gained me something... as in "no dear, that dress doesn't make your butt look big."

Really? I think it looks like shit, along with the new Mazda 3. But that's just me of course.

I LOVE both the interior and exterior of the new 200. I regret not test driving it. Could have gotten a loaded v6 AWD for the price of my TLX, and since I leased I am not too worried about reliability.

I actually test drove the Mazda 3. I don't think the Mazda 3/6 look anywhere near as great as most auto journalists do.

I agree. Chrysler 200 looks like shit. The new RLX rear looks to me like the 200, can't stand it.

I think the Mazda 3 COULD be a good looknig car, but the proportions are incorrect
