Hey Frontline Acura Salespeople

Sites like this tend to be mostly full of the 1% fanboy types who enjoy interacting with like kind!

Curious what sort of feedback your getting from the other 99% who test drive and consider purchasing the TLX? What's the real world impression of the car?

Cheers!

I attended a TLX launch and learn party at my local dealer last night. There were maybe 20 people there looking and a few bought.

The sales folks do not frequent this site, per se. I know more about the TLX than most of them do (as do most of use frequenters here) due to our info sharing. I told them of the complaints and bugs while there.

The GM said that the car has been well received but not yet getting the traffic they hope for.

I imagine some may stumble on the site via a google search as fanboy sites can rank high for a lot of specific questions.

I'm guessing that a lot of people may have interest but are sane/cautious enough to sit on the sidelines for a while given all the new stuff on the cars (transmissions etc) - maybe that's what the GM was referring to.

Also - the competition is sooooo tough these days (even the once laughable KIA and Hyundia are brought into the mix as is evident on this site) that unless you roll out a simply amazing machine it would be tough to blow out record numbers I suspect.
