How much does Acura certified add to cost and value?

I recently purchased a Certified 2015 TLX 2.4 Tech for $29k. It only had 6k miles and still had the new car smell.

Acura Certified provides:
- An extended warranty
- 182 point inspection
- 12 month/12000 miles of Acura Concierge Service and Roadside Assistance

I used Kelly Blue book (Find my car's value) to find the value of the TLX I was looking at.

 

I generally default to KBB for the cars value as well.

 

Wholesale value is between $30k and $32k - retail I'd expect around $34k to $36k... If you want a road trip, why not look at new? You might have some limited color selections, but Pohanka Acura in Chantilly, VA has a handful of leftover new 2015's on their lot...

When I was shopping around last September, they were offering new 15 TLX Tech AWD for $35089 + Tax/Title/Licensing, and it looks like they have a few 2015 AWD Tech & Advances laying around... If you want contact info for the internet sales person, shoot me a PM - might be worth looking into seeing if they are willing to play ball.

I'm going to test drive an i4 and V6 TLX Tech P-AWS this weekend. What are some of the pricing you guys are getting these days? Reading the forums, the range has been 32-36K, but a little all over the place.

Is 32K (before TTL) for the v6 Tech too low? How about the i4 Tech for 30K?

 

Really depends on your location to be 100% honest. You're buying new, yes? V6 Tech for $32k (new) does sound too low - As of last Sept to Nov, Pohanka was selling new 2015s for
-2.4 Tech $30100 + TTL
-V6 Tech $33100 + TTL
No clue on pricing now on 2016s, but I'd figure around $1500 more for the 2.4 and V6 would be a good price since they aren't trying to push off 2016s off the lot for 2017s quite yet like they were when I was shopping around. Also might be $1k or so more if you are in a less competitive region (seems like Cali is one of those regions)
