trunk is same size and it has a bigger pass through. But interior volume is 98 cu feet, as opposed to TLX 106. probably similar rear room as front leg room will be compromised.

I test drove a 4 cyl EX-L Accord today, and was very impressed. Maybe Honda should have gone with the CVT in the TLX instead of the new and not so improved 8 and 9 speeds.

I had the CVT in my 13 EXL and now the DCT in my 15 TLX and I would much rather have the DCT even with the occasional quirks. Your opinion may vary of course.

The 2016 Accord offers some safety features not available on the 4 cyl TLX, including the collision mitigation braking system, the road departure mitigation system, and adaptive cruise control. It is annoying that you have to get the V6 TLX to get these features, which are now available on all Accord models.
