Dents on any crease are very difficult to work DIY. Best to first check with a good no paint dent remover & if its a nogo try a good body shop or just fuhgeddaboudit.

Agree... my wife's old car had several dents including one on a crease on the hood. I took it to a PDR guy. He happened to be pretty good. My first experience with PDR. He worked out of a tent in the parking lot of a grocery store. He worked and worked and worked on the dent for a loooong time, but it was gone when he was done. Sometimes he worked on it from underneath, sometimes from on top. We talked a good bit while he was working about how he got started and how long it took him to get good at it. Even to just 'locate the tip' of the tool takes a lot of experience. To be good at PDR takes a lot of practice and I'd look for references. I just got lucky. But if the paint is chipped or cracked you probably need a body shop. Or just touch it up and fuhgeddaboudit. There will be more dents in your future.

Unless you know what you are doing, in which case you wouldnt be asking us, i would check with some PDR places and have them do the work. A good PDR guy will take care of just about any small to medium size dent without anyone ever knowing where it was.

I agree, I had a small dent removed from my hood a while ago that I really didn't think the PDR guy would be able to remove. He amazed me and made me a believer, you would never know it was there.

please help
I have an unrelated question. I scratched my black copper TLX 2015 on bumper while getting it out of my garage. What are the paint options? touch up options? There is no dent or anything. Just pretty nasty scratch marks
