I noticed this morning that my coolant level in the reservoir is below the minimum mark. What kind of coolant is recommended for topping off the reservoir?
I found this after a quick search. Would this be compatible with the coolant that is already in there?
I would only use OEM fluid if it were me .. It's not that much more expensive but the above is better than your local auto parts store "universal" fluid. If OEM Honda fluid is out of the budget, at the very least, I would get this Aisin stuff: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=11393&jsn=817
+1.
OEM preferred. Many years ago, I used Prestone in my Honda Civic, which ended up damaging the water pump seal ... twice... until I realized it was the coolant composition that was the culprit (silicates and other additives). Lesson learned after having to replace the timing belt-driven water pump twice!

OEM coolant where I live went for $13/gal at my local dealer, at least when I last bought it 3 years ago.... Save $2-3 by using the Honda one instead of Acura.
