3.5L V6 preferred oil

I'm sure this has been bounced around thousands of times, but I have not found a recent thread. Of course the Honda 3.5L V6 has been around for a while. Just curious what people are using these days. Some are very particular in what kind of oil they use.

The current weight on the cap is 0w20. I use Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy. Do I notice any increased MPG? Not really. I guess 1 - 3 MPG if I'm really babying it. But considering I still use the OEM oil change intervals, I'm confident this is providing adequate protection and maybe a very slight MPG enhancement.

Who makes Honda brand oil?

I don't think you can go wrong with a full synthetic. Most oils out there are decent. If you are very particulate about what goes in your engines, I personally have had good experience with Eneos Sustina 0W20

I was always under the impression that ExxonMobil supplied Honda all these years. Whether they still are, I dont know.

I change my oil twice a year. I deviate just slightly, using a 5w20 in summer and a 0w20 in winter. Always using Walmart Mobil 1 oil. I travel to some very hot climates and just don't feel the 0w20 is thick enough.
