3.5 Tech performed rescue today!

As I was leaving my home we (the TLX and me) came across a small terrier dog weaving through morning traffic here in Los Angeles.
We moved to the center of the street and rescued the little fella, and ended up taking him to the pound.
To show his appreciation the little guy pooped on the rear seats. I was furious but I figured the little fella was a little traumatized seeing he was almost hit by a car more than once.

Here is his mugshot:

As a dog and TLX lover, I have to congratulate you!! I couldn't see the pic, for some reason, but i hope the little fella gets a good home. I also hope the seat survived his "gift"!

That's awesome - my dogs say thank you!

The little fella wasn't micro-chipped eh? Too bad.

I'm guessing the poo cleaned up pretty well off the seat - that's the nice thing about leather. In fact I poop in my car on a regular basis and am always happy about the ease of clean up!

The seats survived. Although my dog is sniffing the area, he can tell I was unfaithful to him and gave me the stink eye all night.

When I was purchasing the car I didn't want the color combo I got. The dealer talked me into it with some incentives one of which was some kind of fancy stuff they spray to protect the interior for free. So I agreed to the deal and am a very happy owner.

I carry a packing blanket (from the last time we moved houses) and several bath towels for anytime my pups have to ride in my car. They never touch the seats!

...just don't get too close to inspecting the seat visually as you will go from getting the stink eye to a pink eye

It's nice when someone is willing to do what you did and remove that dog from danger and take it to a place where it has a chance to be rescued or returned. My last 3 dogs have been rescue dogs and they have all been exceptional. I found 1 of them in the parking lot where I work and took her home and put an ad in the paper, but no one claimed her so I kept her. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

On a side note: I recently had 2 of the 3 pass so I thought I'd go to a place that specializes in Siberian Husky rescue to get at least 1, maybe 2 new friends. The application was probably more extensive than had I tried to adopt a child Ultimately, they want to make sure the dogs are going to a good home so I understand. There were other things that popped up to keep me from going ahead, but I still want to get a few new dogs when I can.

Now I know why you added the "New Car Scent" air freshener to your profile.

Awesome! TLX to the rescue! Lol.
My TLX SH-AWD performed rescue as well today. Used my inflator for the first time to help a friend with flat from running over a nail... and Discount Tire CO is only a few blocks away so figured I'd "rescue" him from having to change out to his spare tire in the hot afternoon sun. Inflated it back up to 30psi so he can make it those few blocks. Haha. Guess this inflator came in handy.

^^ I had the same problem yesterday! I drove over a nail but luckily, was able to be patched up quickly enough and made it to the tire place before losing air.

Those damn nails and road debris are starting to wreak havoc in my life....
