so to begin with you cannot make these work with factory radio, you will have to use an aftermarket module, the module i got works when you lock/unlock the car and can be done manually with the button on the door, i did try to use all oem parts but not possible as the dash harness is different and cannot use parts from the acura tlx advanced, i bought it all for no reason 🙃

Acura should’ve just made it standard with A-Specs from the get go… there is a guy on YouTube who converted his tech TLX mirrors to advanced TLX folding mirrors he had a kinda vague video showing how he did it though

yeah i’ve seen it too but it’s much more simple and easier if you just buy the kit they sell on ebay
i spent over 1k to get to work like factory

Folding mirrors are a novelty to me. Even when I lived in Japan(which has tiny parking spaces) used it maybe once at a mall. Then again maybe it has more to do with people being more considerate there vs here. Here you get dents, dings, scrapes and scratches at parking lots more than anything.
