Has anyone installed a full front clear bra with the senor holes cut and then found that parking assistant would not sense objects until you almost on top of them? If so what did you to do remedy the issue so that the sensors picked up objects within the normal distances?

 

If you cut around the holes then the clear bra should have no impact. I have a 15 advance and have a clear bra and no issues. It might be just the way these sensors are in the TLX you have to get real close... unless it was different before and now it changed overnight once you added the bra?

 

I have clear bra on the whole front end of my TLX, it was done professionally. I will look into the proximity sensor tomorrow if they have clear bra as well.

 

Mine was professionally installed as well however there are no cut-outs over the sensors. This is probably my issue. Are yours cut-out?

 

I just realized that my TLX is an Aspec model and its parking sensors are not on painted section of the from bumper so I do not have this issue. I do recall that my previous 2016 TLX Elite (same as advance) had the parking sensors on painted section of the front bumper. It also had a clear bra but the sensors had a cutout on them. I think you should bring it back to the clear bra shop and let them fix it. They usually get them precut and should have chosen the advance trim so the location of the proximity sensors are precut as well.
