2016 TLX SH-AWD w/ Tech Package
Hi guys,
I am looking around and I found this 2016 TLX SH-AWD w/ tech. package and has 3,200 miles in it for $32,495 at cargurus.com. The vehicle is located in Chicago. If you were to buy this vehicle what would be your price? Your opinions much appreciated.
Thanks,

Id rather get a 2014/2015 cpo gs350 f sport. Same price range with a bit more mileage but you get more car, 2 yrs additional warranty compared to 1 for acura, and lexus reliability. I'm looking to get into on myself if not for the terrible trade in value of the TLX

Most expensive cars are not that easy to resell. It took me almost 2 years to find a private buyer for my E90. This is the biggest reason I went with a lease - and expected cost over 36 mo is under control. I even recommend OP to explore seriously leasing a new one rather than buy used.

I saw a CPO same car with 10k miles for just under 32k at a dealer a couple weeks ago. Was so nice they had it in the showroom. I suspect it could have been had for 31k. I think if you put some effort into it and visited a couple dealers you could get a new 2017 for around 3500 more (possibly less) and get .9% financing. So if your taking a loan maybe better to go new.

Agree with the CPO GS 350 F Sport. This one would be high on my list. The TLX would not be a consideration.

Acura Care vs MPP vs standard CPO warranty Help please
Assuming a CPO car is within the original manufacturers warranty - what benefit would there be to buy a "wrap warranty" from Acura Care or MPP ? Is there some repair or component that the wrap warranty covers?
I am so old school - I am used to the "bumper to bumper" terminology but that does not seem to exist any longer.
I was offerred a MPP wrap warranty at $1500 on a 2016 TLX SHAWD Advance package. I can still pull the trigger on this - I am a little nervous about all the high technology in the vehicle and further expenses down the road. Your thoughts?

Regarding your question, you are getting around 25% off a new one. Given the MMC coming out, and discounts on the 2017, I think a price around 70% of sticker (30K) would be a good deal, assuming the vehicle is clean and drives how you would want it to.
