Hello there first post. I'm in the process of purchasing a '16 Tlx Elite sh awd.
There is a A-Spec emblem on the front fender, it has the ground effects pkg.
Also has 19" Diamond cut oem wheels with Michelin super sports.
The interior is stock, with none of the ilx a-spec special seats, guages, pedals etc. You can't build a A-Spec Tlx on the Acura Canada site. Is it a unicorn?

A-spec is an exterior package for the TLX, not a trim level like the ILX. I know it's confusing as hell.

So is the TLX A-Spec pkg a dealer "add-on" whereas the ILX A-Spec comes from the factory?

Yup. Although I don't think you can order it after the fact. I think it just includes the body kit and maybe different wheels and the A-spec badge. Definitely NOTHING in the interior though.

I was at my local dealership last weekend. They had a white TLX with black shield, black roof, black spoiler and black on the underside of the mirrors.

They had a badge on it saying is was the Onyx edition. I should have taken pics

I just got my a-spec kit installed a couple days back, i ordered it with the vehicle but held off on the installation until i was sure winter was behind us.

@youngTL is right, its simply cosmetic. I added the chrome door garnish and it looks incredible imo!

Those diamond cut wheels have really grown on me. I wish I bought them, but then again, I didn't want 19's in pothole/frost heave city where I live. I like the chrome strips up the sides.
