I have been considering a TLX in the back of my mind but I think I will wait for 2016's.

 

I think you are confused about these videos. They are not TSBs or necessarily issues but weekly updates about the TLX launch.

 

It was intended as a 3 month process, issued weekly, video for techs.

 

9570 through the 28th.

That's 174 a day in the selling days from the 21st - 28th. That's solid.

It's also 3400 for the month of October. The car continues to sell really well and will probably be right where it was last month - ahead of everything except the C-class and the 3 series.

 

On another note, I am sad to see these videos go! It was a nice way to end the week, and this means the TLX is officially not "brand new" anymore. On to the ILX launch I guess!

They are an interesting insight into the back room function, and I view them as positive rather than negative. In fact, it is comforting to know that they are paying close attention and have a developed relationship to the local service departments. Was actually rooting for a tech from my local dealer to be featured, but maybe they did not encounter any particularly challenging issues.

 

I am glad to see that they are aware of some of the issues that are showing up here. Have to assume that vents may be changed over at next model year or at least an option. Also seem to have pulse on social media and are hearing about trannie issues. Will miss the weekly updates.

 

I think you have the wrong sales number for Oct.
In video #8, the tlx sales by Sept 30 is 5564, and in video #12, sales number is 9570 by Oct 28.

That means in only 28 days, over 4000 TLXs are sold.
Considering Oct has 31 days and monthly sale number reported by Goodcarandbadcar is higher than calculated by one pack videos for Sept, we can safely assume the final sales number of TLX in Oct will be above 4500.

I'm sorry to see these videos end as well- hopefully Acura will continue OnePack for other launches going forward. It's nice to see how quick Acura can move- the vent reflection issue is a prime example.

 

For a company that can move so slow (e.g. my 2011 TSX not having keyless access ), it is nice to see they are starting to move a little faster
