Hey everyone,

Has anyone tried to get any Apple CarPlay/Android Auto box from AliExpress? I see that Navtool and Grom have options for the 2015-2017 TLX too. I wanted to get one but I cannot find one where the bottom screen would have functionality (bottom screen allowing you to skip songs, rather than saying "Audio In")

In this guy's reddit post, he has the module where CarPlay works fine at the top, and the bottom has a functioning screen as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/Acura/comme...ent=whitespace

Though, he isn't responding to anyone asking for the link of the one he has, and the AliExpress ones I've found have reviews with images that clearly show "Audio In" and such.

If anyone has tried to get CarPlay through a module like this, let me know as I'm interested in it as well.

It seems whatever unit the poster has is connected to the factory radio through Bluetooth rather than the Aux line others usually show.

To add onto that, the only unit I've seen so far that gives you control from the bottom screen is the Grom VLine. In their TLX installation video, they were able to skip tracks because their unit hijacks the iPod interface. I've got a "JustNavi" unit from AliExpress and I'm very happy with it. Does the job for a third of the price.

Hi zedfs, a couple questions for the JustNavi unit. What car did you install it in? I have a 2017 RDX dual screen. Does it use the internal microphone, or you are forced to use their microphone. Also does the unit fit under the factory unit? or you need to install it under the glove box?
