Wheel fitment problem...

Wheel fitment problem...
Did anyone ever deal with wheels that had faces with the center portion almost flush with the spokes? I thought I had done my homework by selecting the right size, width, bolt pattern and offset but turns out I still managed to get something that doesn't fit...
The wheels are Axis Revs in 18x9.5 +40. They hit the calipers pretty bad... I guess they would fit with a tick spacer but I picked relatively aggressive offsets already so I don't want to add a spacer, I don't think it would fit without a major fender roll.
Is the "concavness" between the center portion of the wheel and the spokes a published spec that I should have known or did I just get unlucky that I bought a set of wheels were the center portion is almost flush with the spokes? Or is it the tl that doesn't have enough "offset" between the inner hub part of the disc and the outer part?
I don't think I ever bought wheels that fit right the first time... It's either the center is too tick and I need extended wheels studs or the holes have to be enlarged etc...
But this time I really don't know what I could do beside adding a spacer that I don't want to do...

The Original Shawdy
Same thing happen to me on the front only. Rim sits on top of the caliper. My offset is +19 too but I know why everyone runs concave now lol. I'm adding a 3-5mm spacer though. Just enough to clear and not run extended studs.
