i've owned sumotomo's loved them kuhmo's loved them falken's a long long long time ago ...up in the air with those...forgot what tires came on my 06 tl but those sucked they went not even 2 months after i got the car..that's when i got the sumotomo's ..so now i'm running 245/35/20 toyo extensa's thus far no issues but then again havent had them on more than a month ..love the tread on them they eat through water like it's not even there .....grip is tremendous ..wanna know peoples input on thier good ,bad, and ugly stories of toyo tires and even other tires?

Great tire, I have owned several. My only complaint is that tread-life is not worthy of the price. I assume that yours are "H" rated in which case I doubt you will get the 50k as promised.

I've had Toyos (Proxes) on my cars and Open Country A/T's on my 4Runner and was happy with their performance.
I've also had good luck with Yokohamas and Generals in that order.
You really need to do your homework and read consumer reveiws.

I had Toyo Proxes on my Maxima. Good tires but wear waaay too fast and I don't drive like I'm in a NASCAR race either.

I have them and they are decent tires, they performed pretty well in the snow in NYC this winter. Oh and I had them all winter long with my 20's and never got stuck. One thing I can tell you I have hit numerous potholes and craters and not one blown tire.
