Want to go staggered on my SH-AWD but explain to me why I can't?

So I see many here after searching that say it can't be done. But I want it done because I want a Flush/Stance type of look. I plan to lower the car a little bit and want some really nice wheels like the CV3s or some other ones. I was thinking of going 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 or 20x10.5 all around is also possible but may require some work on the fenders since this is my daily.

As long as the tire size is the same rolling diameter as the front-rear it should be fine right?

Exactly as long as its the same rolling diameter. My friend just did a staggered set up on his Lexus GS 350 using cv3s and he's AWD also so you can do it.

FYAH TL's post says it works:

Question

Ok, I've read all the posts, but still not convinced which set up is right for me. I'm settled on doing staggered 20's and lowering. I want a really flush look, I plan on rolling the fenders, but still worried about rubbing BS. Looking at front 245X35 20's, and rear 275X30 20's rear, I know rolling diameter needs to be as close as possible on a 4th gen SH-AWD.
Looking at Eibach springs?
Wheels are 9.5 front, 10.5 rear, looking at a 55mm offset?
Maybe just do 10.5 all around on 245X35 tires? I need real input, exact fits done, with pics to show if you would.
