Looking at these in 18" x 8" 5x120 with a 35 offset. Is the offset high enough or will I they be sticking out?

Ok - I'm not sure if I'm right, but I'll take a stab at this... I think the stock rims are also 18" x 8" with an offset of +55. So these would stick out 20mm more than the stock ones....
Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
*edit* actually I think I'm right. According to the site: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
the outer position will extend an extra 20mm out.

It's over 3/4" and may come out to the edge of the well. I'll measure in the morning.

I am looking at Boss 339 Chrome which are a 20x8.5 with a 38MM offset
I think stock on my TL FWD is 17x8.5 with a 55MM offset
According to the offset calculator thats 17MM extra it still stick out, but honestly, again like I asked before, does 3/4 of an Inch (or 17mm) even noticeable or cause any issues?
I would go with 245/35/20 Falken FK452 tires

Sticking out is an issue for me. It changes the overall look of the car too much, plus puts extra stress on the axles.
