TL Wheel Specs

Anyone have wheel specs? Did they move to the larger RL/MDX bolt circle, 5x120mm?

What is the bolt circle?
What is the offset?
Is the hub still 64.1?

Yes, I would like to know this as well because I am ordering the factory 19-inch HPT tire and wheel package option with expected delivery in November and will need to order 4 high performance winter tires mounted on aftermarket wheels with TPMS sensors (probably from tirerack.com) within the first month of taking delivery.

Im pretty sure its the same as the 3G : 5x114.3 bolt pattern. dont know about the offset and hub.

for wheels alone, anything that fits (with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern) over the last generation of Japanese sports cars/sport sedans will very likely fit the 4G TL, as they fit the 3G TL.

I for one have Evo MR SE BBS wheels on my 3G and they fit perfectly.

very likely. i doubt Honda would change hub specifications between two "similar" cars.

I believe the RL and 4G TL have the same bolt pattern, just maybe slightly different offset. RL has 4-piston brakes, though smaller than the TL-S 4-piston Brembos, so Id imagine it would need a slightly different offset to clear, as opposed to the 4G TL's 2-piston sliding front calipers.

well the 04+RL has a unique bolt battern, so i'm thinking that might be the case for the AWD TL. it would seem silly for them to have 2 different bolt patterns on the 4G TL, but i'm just throwing it out there. i'm kind of stunned that the AWD model with the "most powerful motor produced by acura" has a 2 piece front caliper. if the hub is the same as the RL, i wonder if the brakes would swap over.

edit: the 04+ RL uses a 5x120, not the 5x114.3. i'm just thinking the AWD model may share the same hub and therefore the same bolt pattern.

.

I have also been told that the new TL bolt pattern is different then the old TL on the SHAWD model and it seems that it would be the different then the old TL on the 2WD model as well.

Where is your info from?

if you don't mind, who told you? this is basically what i was inferring in my posts, the RL has 5x120 so maybe AWD TL will be too? i just think that's a little weird for acura to do, but hey, they have done weirder. my only hesitation that it would be different is because they seem to offer the 19" wheel packages on base OR awd, so do you think they would have 2 different bolt patterns? pictures show 5 holes and not 10 in the wheels, so it's not like the 19" wheels are universally drilled. i guess we will know when the AWD model hits floors.

All I hoping for is the 4G TL SH-AWD is similar in pattern to the RL. Some of those new TL wheels look pretty nice.

My guess is 120 x 5 since all new acuras that have SH-AWD have it.

My Acura dealer looked up the specs on their parts dept reference catalog. They told me it was a 55mm offset, funny how it was brought to the same offset as the Accord. Its also the following diameters and widths.
17 x 8
18 x 8
and 19 x 8
all have 5 x 114.3, but thats on the FWD, who knows what the AWD will be.
still 64.1 centerbore.

Unfortunately, that's the information I'm looking for as I will be taking delivery of a SH-AWD with the factory 19" HPT option in November and will need to quickly swap the tires and wheels out for winter tires and wheels with TPMS sensors.

That would be a very cool upgrade.

It would be nice to see "ACURA" displayed on the calipers!

Let me know if you are looking for some deals, I might have something for you to work with in 18" for winter wheels for your winter tires. In 5 x 120 if thats what ends up being needed.

My buddy that works at R&D in Marysville. He was really confident about the larger pattern on the AWD. I will ask him to double check.
