Tires on 19 inch wheel 9.5 wide
hello, I’m an trying to figure out how 245-40-19 tires would look on 19 inch 9.5 wide wheels look. Could you post some pictures if you have them?
would you recommend using that tire size on a 9.5 wheel or would you recommend looking for a 8.5 width wheel?
thanks

according to the tire calculator, if I go any higher then 245 the mph gets thrown off. The wheels I’m going to buy are concave so I figured more wide means deeper concave. That’s why I wanted the 9.5. Does discount tire stretch tires?

245 will be at their max and there is a chance discount tire may not mount it since they may be liable. Sidewalls are not designed to handle loads that stretched tires exert, plus since they are stretched it'll throw off the diameter anyway since the diameter will decrease.
245mm to in = 9.6. That's the width of the exterior of the tire, not the distance of where the tire attaches to the rim (aka Bead).
You can go with a slightly larger overall diameter to about 3% max but more than that is not recommended. Doing that effectively gears up the car!
