Tire Suggestions Please

Hi Everyone,

My girlfriend owns a 2009 Accura TL. The Turanza tires that she has, have gone bald within 45K. I am debating between two tires here; Kumho Ecsta 4X KU22 and Nitto Motivo. They both have good ratings and good reviews on tirerack. They cost <$150/tire. Has anyone on this forum used these tires? If so, what was the performance like?

I have the kumho tires, i've only got about 300miles on them, great all around tire but road noise is a little higher than I expected. If you have any particular questions let me know I'd be glad to answer them.

Thanks @wreak! I am leaning towards Motivo. Here's a link to accurazine review of Motivo https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-100/my-nitto-motivo-tire-review-854759/

P.S I promise to post a short review of the tires I go with in future.

Just got some Kumho 4x's on my dad's E320 and it's a lot smoother/quieter than the OE Michelin's that we kept replacing with. Only thing is that handling suffered a bit after installing the Kumho's (compared to the stock tires), but if that doesn't matter, then they are pretty good for the money.

My sister's Lexus IS250 has Kumho Ecsta tires, bang for buck.

After almost 6 months of driving (5k miles), I can say Nito Motivo are performing well in cold Mid West conditions. I was a little skeptical initially but 5k performance looks good. Also there was no bad effect on mileage or anything.
