So Confused about Tire Size - Acura TL

I am purchasing a used Acura TL 2009 (I guess 4th Gen) FWD. I am looking for Winters for this car and someone is seleling their winters from their leased 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD. The winters for sale are 225/55R17 and he is indicating that these will not be bolt pattern compatible to the 200 Acura TL FWD.

I alooked everywhere and cannot get enough confidence to conclude that the bolt patter for a 2009 TL FWD is the same as 2012 AWD TL.

Any help will really be appreciated. I cant imaging why the both patterns would differ in the same Generation but I am new to Acura so dont kow much

There is no other wheel hub parameter that will mess up the fit ?
Seller was insisting that the Acura Technician told him AWD and FWD dont share the same rims/bolt patterns

No,to the best of my knowledge TL's from 2009 to current are all 5 x 120, previous years were 114.3.Here is a previous link posted on Acurazine.

Thanks, I feel better about getting them. Do you find the 17" causes the car to sit too low for winters ?.

I am running 17 steel rims bought from Acura dealer. There is no issue. See also here...

It all depends on the tire sidewall size. Since the stock tire size on the FWD is 245/50-17. Same winter tires in that size wouldn't cause the car to sit lower.

It has thicker tires, if you had 18 or 19 the recommended tire would be smaller in thickness. the overall diameter regardless of wheel size should be roughly the same if you follow recommended sizing
