I understand all the concerns but it seems to have worked for me, I've had them on for a while now and I've even gotten up to speeds 120-125mph ( punching it late nights ) and I haven't had a problem...
But I do drive cautiously on a day to day basis, and I will keep attention to any vibrations of any sort.

looks good. too bad the offset is +55 on these wheels... i think the 7G accord needs 10mm spacers

Not at all! My car is a 7gen and I have 01-03 CL-S brake set-up on my car with the 11.8" rotors and I fit these on with no spacers at all...And I think I have a good 5-10mm clearance on the wheels from the caliper.

But its weird cause i need a spacer for 17 x 7 +45mm offset Si wheels but I don't need a spacer for a 18 x 8 +55mm offset TL wheel. I guess the answer is the 1" width difference is more than the 10mm difference!

it's all in how the backside of the spoke curves, with how they will clear certain brakes or not

and personally those CL-S brakes (same as the 2g TL-S ones) are still too small for my tastes

Well my OEM brakes were only 11.2" and did not stop the car good after 75mph... So I need something cheap and fast! My boy upraded his CL to brembo's so i jumped on his OEM setup since it had Crossed & Slotted rotors! Car stops much better but still want something more myself... Looking into Spoon, D2, and Wilwood

try adding 2-300 lbs on top of that (about what our cars weigh heavier then the same generation of accords, idk about your 7th gen one though), even worse

Thats a really nice look on the 7Gen Accord Sedan... I always had a hard time liking the look of the Sedan, but damn yours is nice with the wheels! Props!

I had a 7Gen Coupe (V6 6MT) and loved it... they are great cars..

Weight in the 7G Accord is all over the map. If you are comparing the 2.4ltr 7G to the 4th generation TL SH-AWD for example, the difference is over 850lbs.

how is that fair ; a 4 cylinder vs a AWD 6 cylinder car (yes the manual does help it save some weight, but then again you could get the v-6 accord in a manual also)

to be fair, you would have to compare a V6 vs V6, with your choice of trannies the same on both of them

I don't even understand what we're trying to compare weight for? A 4gen TL has 11.8" rotors stock... Don't they?

read what i had quoted
and also a 7th gen accord is basically a 3rd gen TL (and no mention of a 4th gen TL at all)
and when Marco mention a 2.4l, he was referring to the accord having a 4 cylinder in there (where i was saying you have to compare a comparable car, since the TL doesn't even come in a 4 cylinder to begin with, only 6 cylinders)
