Rims help

Hey guys I just bought a 2012 Acura TL Elite and looking to start doing some simple mods to it. I want to put some rims on it and have a few in mind. Just wanted to get your guys opinion and it. Also if anyone has the time it would be a big favor if someone could photoshop the rims on the car. I have five sets in mind. I will post a picture of my car and the rim with link below.

The price range you're suggesting large based on those models. You should first establish a wheel budget so we can give insightful recommendations. Second CV series has been around for long enough that a quick google search with your car color and wheel model should bring up plenty of results, same applies to vfs. Lastly why vossen? There are many other brand making much higher quality wheels (cast & forged) and comperable prices.

you should also think about lowering the car if you are going to invest in wheels.

Nice wheels on a stock suspension looks funny for the most part while dropping the car 2 or 3 inches can make a dramatic change to the look of the car. I was hesitant not too long ago but my only regret was not doing it sooner.

Its not cheap since you also have to consider tires, labor and alignment but well worth it.

Those forged Vossens start at $2k/wheel. That's HRE territory. What a joke.

For cast wheels: TSW, Enkei, Niche...plenty others that are FAR less expensive and as good or better quality than Vossen. Hell, I'd take a Konig wheel and use the extra money on other mods before I spent $2400+ on a set of cast Vossen wheels.

Forged: HRE...if you're spending $2k+ per wheel, I don't know why you'd get anything other than HRE honestly.

I believe i said thay exactly on another thread about konig verse vossen. Same shit but konig wont break the bank and rob you blind.

Watch out though. Vossen fanboys are rampant in these forums.

I love JDM wheels, the R&D and building process they put into their wheels is rivaled by few. If I wasn't as performance orientated as I am I would've gotten Work Ziest wheels, they look stunning, have a lip, are concave and still weight less than comparable vossens. Other cast wheels you can look into are BBS and Work.

If you're going to buy forged with a 8k budget on wheels alone your options are endless. As others said you can get HRE's, Rays, Advans, Vorsteiner, a good budget forged wheel is BC forged.

Buying Vossens is like buying a Gucci watch; cheap quality with an expensive logo

As BDogg said, there are plenty of option for cast wheels (process used to make Vossens) at a significantly lower price.

There are some members here with TSW wheels that look absolutely amazing on 4G TLs! I would say look at the wheel and tire thread to get some ideas and save some money to buy nice tires, because 20" tires ain't cheap!!

Here you go. TSW Jerez, 20x9, 2-piece construction, forged barrels. $200/wheel less expensive than a standard cast constructed Vossen. I can guarantee you the quality is far superior than the CV series.

Avant Garde
CCW
HRE
AC FORGED (WHICH IS THE REAL BUGET FORGED WHEELS not BC)
VIP Modular

But just as a reminder. Lower that car first and invest in a alinement kit if your going wide. Might have to roll your fenders as well.

Forgot to mention AC, that said I remember a member here posting that those wheels are rebranded and sold for less under another label. I also have a problem with AC because all their wheels are the same construction and style.
