Exclamation replacement Shocks and front suspension Kit/brand for 2013 TL SHAWD

Hey guys and Gals....

Can someone please help me find a great suspension kit (Coil over shocks) to include upper and lower control arm kit.(if that is also replaced at the same time as a norm) for a 2013 TL SHAWD ...I love my car 150+ highway miles to work 3 times a week ( NO TRACK DRIVING AT ALL, I DONT NEED TO LOWER THE CAR EITHER)..so Im trying to stay away from the Ultra high performance parts and prices at the sametime not go cheapo...there is too much online to unpack UGH....PLEASE HELP!

If you're not trying to lower the car, why not just get a new set of OEM shocks or OE equivalent, like KYB shocks and just put the old springs on them.

Does the bushings in your LCA need replacing, if it's not broken, no need to fix.

understood on an OEM equivalent ....but dont the springs have as much to do with the renewal of the suspension?....I thought all of the components wear out ...

Springs don't typically wear out. But they can be affected by rust or damage.

See if Acura still carries shocks or fully assembled struts. It will make your life easier.

In general, anything you buy aftermarket is going to be a downgrade from a properly working factory part. I would make sure any component you plan to replace is actually worn out.

And I would recommend buying the replacement from a dealer.

Try curryacuraparts.com or acuraoemparts.com

SH-AWD rides a lot firmer than the regular 3.5 FWD TL FYI.

I have a 13 FWD TL, and went to the Koni FSD shocks with factory springs and it rode like jello. Swapped out to the SH-AWD assemblies and they are much firmer than the factory FWD ones, so much so at one point I thought of buying new FWD assemblies to go back to factory or swapping over to Koni Yellows. I'm still thinking about the yellows with factory springs at some point, I'm driving the 3G TL more these days.

Not many options for factory height to my knowledge for complete assemblies. There's always the replacement ones from KYB/Excel but those are not going to be the same quality as OE parts and will wear out fairly quick. FCS is a great example of this on rock-auto. Great for the first few K and then it's downhill.

OP, is there an actual reason you want to do all this work?

If its not broken...dont break it by fixing it while breaking trying to fix it. KnowwhatImean?
